The brief
Five years after the original site launched, JBA had grown significantly and developed a clearer understanding of how they wanted to position themselves. The existing website no longer reflected the scale, expertise or personality of the business, while its ageing CMS limited what the site could do. My role was to translate JBA’s brand and content requirements into a flexible system of reusable website components, including a new bespoke login area for secure PDF downloads.

The Approach
The new site needed to make it easier for the team to build and manage content while giving the brand more space to express itself. I focused on balancing the technical and highly credible nature of JBA’s work with a more engaging and expressive visual style. This created opportunities to introduce movement and personality throughout the experience, including interactive elements such as the animated wave flux and parallax effects.

The Outcome
I developed a broad library of reusable components that could be combined to create new pages and content, alongside the bespoke login experience and interactive brand elements. The result is a more engaging platform that brings together JBA’s products, expertise, insights and global reach in a clearer and more dynamic way. The new site was very well received by the client and provides JBA with a stronger digital presence that better represents the business.
